Managed: IP Telephony Services
On behalf of Navajo Nation NNTU has entered in contractual agreement with Navajo Communications (NCC)/Frontier Communication Corporation to provide Managed IP Telephony services to our governmental offices
Project Status:
- The implementation has begun for the Window Rock, AZ offices for approximately 1500 telephones.
- Successful testing of the Managed IP Telephony Service and Equipment was conducted at Department of
Information Technology and NNTU on July 19 and 20, 2011.
- IP Wiring upgrades, telephony set and service orders are in process for:
- Department of Information Technology activated on 11/15/11
- NNTU Service activated on 11/28/11
- Administration Building No. 1 departments
- Administration Building No. 2 departments, wiring upgrades in progress
- Dine' Education Center departments
- NDOT
- Karigan Building
- Office of Broadcast Services
- Judicial Admin
